It is reported that EU has passed new trade strategy on Oct.4 to help 25 member countries to expand employment and improve economy increasing rate. Mandelson showed that EU need establish"modern economy policy", give up trade protectionism and center on opening global market. To reach above object, EU will pay attention to sign bilateral & regional trade agreement. The report directed that Mandelson will strive to help EU enterprise to get international market share in the rest accession period.
Mandelson showed that before multilateral trade negotiation is resumed, EU will restart bilateral trade negotiation to enhance EU enterprise s trade status in area where economy develops quickly. Therefore, EU will start up trade negotiation with South-Korea and ASEAN as well as Gulf countries and South Common Market and sign trade agreement with India and Russia. EU will continue to keep trade relationship with China. On October.24, EU will promote new China trade strategy.
