The seminar "To purchase textiles from China", which jointly sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in London and the British Branch of KPMG Accounting Firm, was held on September 7 at KPMG UK Headquarters.
Participants discussed on the Sino-European and Sino-British textile & apparel trade status, production and marketing, textile integration prospect, and how to expand textile trade better. The main problems involved how to develop China s own brands and the brand counterfeiting problem.
About 100 people attended the seminar. After the meeting, Chief Executive of the British Retailers Association and some related British enterprises held separate exchanges with Chinese business delegates.
