US and Indonesia reached understanding memo to stop illegal textile trade

US trade representative Schwab and minister of Indonesia Miss Su Huilan signed an understanding memo to avoid transiting illegal textile & fashion to US through Indonesia.

This agreement is reached after convention for focusing bilateral trade relationship between US trade ambassador in Jakarta and undersecretary of Indonesia Commerce Ministry.

This understanding memo is designed to help stop illegal textile trade between two countries, illegal transportation of textile & textile and tight the relationship between two countries.

This memo is achievement of the ongoing US-Indonesia Trade & Investment Agreement. This agreement is signed in 1996 aiming to tight relationship between US and Indonesia. At present, both countries trade value reached 16.5billion USD/Year.
