For the first time Milan Fashion Week its door to Chinese brands. On September 25, 2006, Chinese fashion brands ally launched at Milan fashion week, including 8 famous Chinese fashion brands, such as Firs, Shanghai silk, Guangdong silk, as part of China's brands outgoing strategy.
The ally launch was under the title of "STYLE CHINA New Silk Road" in which many China s famous brands displayed their own themes on suit-dress for spring and autumn 2007.
MarioBoselli, Chairman of the Italian National Fashion Association, said there was much room for Chinese designers to improve in original creation, choice and use of material.
