High Tech Health has invented a pair of electrically charged socks to help ward off deep vein thrombosis (DVT) on long flights, Sam Penny, the director said here.
He further said that the circulation booster mobile would reduce the risk of developing potentially deadly condition by increasing blood circulation to more than 50 percent.
The electrically charged socks embedded with silver receive electrical impulses, which pass through the skin and stimulate nerves in the feet and lower legs, is send by the battery controlled handheld device.
The socks reduced the need to perform exercises to help blood flow during long flights as it provides excellent muscle contraction and release basically by blood pumping.
However, it is more effective but similar to exercise which stimulate all the muscles in the lower legs.
Penny clarified that DVT occurs when blood flow is restricted and clots form, usually in the legs after a person has been immobile for long periods of time and has been common in air travelers in recent years.
DVT symptoms include swelling, pain and redness, especially on the back of the leg and can be fatal if a clot breaks off and reaches the lungs.
The socks are like regular socks and could be washed up to 70 times while the wire which attached the socks to the battery pack could be worn discretely under clothing.
High Tech Health since 1994 is helping medical practitioners and their patients recognise and eliminate the effects of metal and chemical toxicity, as well as metabolic acidosis as more doctors recommend High Tech Health than any other company for help with these issues.
