US Cotton export is increased by 30% while China purchases 10000tons

On October.5, US Agricultural Department issued <> (Sep.22-28.) US land cotton export for 2006/2007 reached 0.0577million tons, up 34% than last week, the export up 30% than average export for pre four weeks. The purchasers are mainly from Turkey (0.015million ton), Indonesia (.013million ton), China (0.0118million ton), Taiwan (3357ton), Thailand (2223ton), Colombia (2200ton) and Mexico (2019ton).

In the same week, US cotton shipping for 2006/07 reached 23700ton, up 38% than last week, 47% than average shipping quality for last four weeks. This cotton was mainly exported to China (5307ton), Turkey (4173ton), Mexico (4105ton), Indonesia (2249ton) and Thailand (1928ton).

US leather cotton export reached 4581ton, the main importers are Japan (1860ton), Bengal (1157ton) and Thailand. The shipping amount reached 318ton. Main purchasers are Indonesia (159ton) and Pakistan (68ton).
