The involved value of Ningbo Dafa Chemical Fiber Co. and Cixi Jiangnan Chemical Fiber Co. reach 14million USD and 9million USD, ranked first two. At present, US have required to pose 101.52% of average anti-dumping tariff on polyester staple fiber produced in China.
This case is vital to Ningbo City Chemical Fiber Industry and will influence the export prospect of textile & fashion industry. At present, over 60% of polyester staple fiber in Ningbo is exported to US. Therefore, once US win the case, nearly 50 chemical fiber enterprises be involved directly and indirectly will be in hot water while tens of thousand enterprises will face unemployment. It is known that Cixi Jiangna Chemcial fiber Co. and Ningbo Dafa Chemcial fiber Company are preparing detail answering data with the direction of lawyer to strive for reverse the verdict.
According to tradition, US will set the tax rate in preliminary judgment in November, so Ningbo enterprises also have opportunity to strive for lower anti-dumping tax rate.
