US International Trade Committee (ITC) declaim through official website that according to the requirement of US Trade Representative Office (USTR), it will investigate on the effect of Sino-US import trade and US sock industry made by baby sock import in two different resolution definitions to confine baby sock's ascription in textile category. USTR point out in the official letter to US International Trade Committee that it is more appropriate for baby sock to vest to"shoes"with quota rather than the products for harmonizing custom. The proclaim show that they will not hold public hearing of witnesses for this investigation, but put forward written speech. Once the definition is granted to mend, China baby sock will be exported to US as the goods without quota.
