The price of India denim may be increased by 5%

After declined by 10% during July-August, Indian inland denim's price may rise to 5% in next month. In the first several months, the price for it has decreased to 80 Rupee/ meter from 90 Rupee. In the meanwhile, international market's demand on fashion exceed the one on material, which lead to worse market condition for denim.

The market expert analyze that if the overstock material in inland market can be produced to garment for international market, the condition can be straightened up-the prosperous inland demand can increase denim price by 3-4Rupee.

All the seasons after July are for denim because there are many festivals before December. The producing enterprise considers that the increasing demand can increase price by 5%. The expert says that last year, denim cotton cloth quantity is increased from 0.38billion meters to 0.55billion meters. The consumption of denim in inland market is increased from 0.25billion meters to 0.275meters. The supply increase 0.17billion meters while demand increase 25million meters. As a result, the price is decrease by 8-10%.

The experts said that the enterprises start to be involved in garment will cost the superfluous denim recently. They said that it is the good time for garment manufacturers to make money because the demand on garment is triplication of material demand in international market.
