Uruguay The updated news reported in Sep.15, 2006 that the statistic from Uruguay wool Bureau in Sep.14 showed until August, Uruguay exported 0.0522ton wool during first ten months, increased by 40.8%. Especially the export of raw wool was increased by 216.9%, accounting for 21.8%,washed wool 56.3%,the one of fur stripe 67.9%, accounting for 67.9% of total export,
For export value in the same period, China accounts for 32.1%, Italy 17.4%, Germany 10.2%, Mexico 10.2%, Brazil 5%, and Argentina 3.8%. For raw wool export value, China accounts fro 48%, Italy 21%, Iran 3.3%, and Turkey 3.1%.
In the same period, Uruguay's wool exported to Japan, Morocco, Brazil, US, South-Korea, Macao etc is increased by double, the increase rate are 114%,363%,246%,296%,128%and170%separately. All indicated that Uruguay wool export market was accelerating diversification.
