Japanese Apparel Company-Daidoh announce that they will purchase top grade men's suits more often from China, because their own suppliers had upgraded technical level.
Daidoh opened about 30 new stores in China last year, then the total number of stores goes to 50. It is expected that by the end of 2006, its sale in China will be more than one billion yen (about 8.9 million U.S. dollars).
Daidoh s oriented Chinese consumers are those with yearly income of 100,000 -200,00 yuan, and the figure is two times the average income in China. The company forecast that there are about 130 million people at this income level, forming a considerable potential market equal to Japan.
