Vietnamese Vice Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung said during a recent visit to Vietnam textile garment group Viinatex that government will help the group to complete its 2006-2010 and 2020 goals.
Sinh Hung urged the textile&garment industries to enhance the training of skilled workers, and to carry through technical innovation and adopt the world's most advanced technology, in order to produce quality products, as well as open up new markets.
On the other hand, Nguyen Sinh Hung asked Vinatex to develop to the textile raw materials industry. The textile industry should establish clothing materials centers in the country, reducing the dependence on imported raw materials.
In addition, Hung agreed that to found a Vietnam Textile and Garment Association in the near future, to promote Vietnam textile and garment industries according to the international market situation.
