According to an annual market survey report issued by South Korea Fashion Association, the Korean children wear sale in 2005 reached 1.094 trillion won, an increase of 27.8% over 2004.
This is because South Korea's birth rate continued to decline in recent years, many young couples have only one child, forming a new family structure that four grandparents and two parents take care of one child. In such cases, children wear upgrade quickly a higher price and higher grade, and their parents are more generous to buy clothes for their children.
