Recently, EU and China has reached an agreement about the maximum usage of quotas on textile exports in 2007. According to data published by the EU, in 2007, the maximum volume of 10 categories of Chinese textile are as follows : Category 2 (69,692 tons), category 4 (594,225,000 pieces), Category 5(219,674,000 pieces), Category 6 (382,880,000 items), Category 7 (88,543,000 pieces), Category 20 (17,770 tons), category 26 (29,701,000 pieces), category 31 (248,261,000 pieces), category 39(13,892 tons), Category 115 (5,214 tons).
