Ministry of Trade (MOT) recently reported that fabric exports turnover of the country in September 2006 reached US $17.85 million, rising 3.2 percent from previous month and 65 percent against same period 2005.
The figure for the past nine months was $141.15 million at over 60 markets, up by 65.3 percent over last year period.
Among these markets, China recorded strongest importing growth of fabric from Vietnam, as the country poured roundly $15 million to buy the goods from Vietnam during the nine month period, recorded year on year rise of 156 percent.
As regard to exporting prices, the average price at all markets stood at $0.88 per yard of FOB, a slight reducing from previous month at $0.1 per yard.
