On October 31, reporters learned from Foshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that the Mexican government had officially implemented new labeling regulations of textile and clothing from August 20. But during these two months, many unqualified product labels were still discovered.
According to Foshan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, "Garments and clothing supplies should be labeled in collar, waist or other distinct parts with a permanent clear label, and the label should be listed in Spanish with trade name, fiber content, size and other information." The Bureau also reminded exporters of textile and apparel to inquire in local inspection and quarantine agencies before producing and exporting, so that could examine the labels of textiles and clothing in time.
