Recently, Brazil Federal Administration of Taxation adopted pano quente in all ports and airports in Brazil against illegal imported textiles and clothing from India, China and other eastern countries. The fraud and contraband of such products have been threats to domestic industries, about 30,000 local enterprises involving 1.6 million workers are affected.
It is reported that the most common transgresses are the abuse of product classifications and origin certificate. With Brazilian Textile and Clothing Industry Association s participation, this action also won the broad support of the textile industry. They will supply support to product identification.
