Commanded by president of Uzbekistan, the value added tax on silk process enterprise and silk distributing factory and manufacturers will be exempted by government before January.1,2010. The tariff on rare accessory, material used by the enterprises under Uzbekistan Light Industry Co. will be removed before January.1,2008.
About 700tons silk is produced in Uzbekistan silk industry. 18 silk process factories under Uzbekistan Silk Association are composed by 8 filature factories and five weaving factories. There silk products are mainly exported to Japan, India, China. Turkey, Vietnam.
