The statistic shows that in 2007, global cotton will enjoy a balance between supply and demand.

With the reference of 2006,it is estimated that international cotton price will keep at 52-58cents in 2007

A balance can be seen between global cotton supply and demand. But the consumption is higher than output expected to be 24.9million tons, more 0.19million ton than 2005 .The is expected to be 25.5million tons, up 3% annually while the storage will decline to 11.6million tons.

In 2007, the output is anticipated to reach 25.11million metric ton while consumption will reach 26.03million metric ton, exceeding 26million metric ton. Global storage is expected to 11.01million ton due to the big consumption.
