The Minister of Pakistan Food, Agriculture & Livestock estimated that this year's cotton output would exceed the target.

Last year, the cotton production did not reach the goal because of the impact of natural disaster.

The Minister made this speech as he met with the Ambassador of the Union of Myanmar. Ambassador noted Pakistan had made great achievement in cotton output. He expressed the hope to import more cotton from Pakistan.

The Minister stressed that Gov should strengthen the training of farmers in the cotton field and increase the industrial modernization.

The Minister expressed to the Ambassador that they would do their best to help them obtain high-quality cotton.
