As a world premiere at GDS/GLS Lacoste will be presenting shoe and bag styles from the new Lacoste Paris collection created for the New York Fashion Show. Head designer Christophe Lemaire has captured the flair of the exclusive French Alpine ski resort Megève in this collection.
The shoe collection includes an update on the classic hiking boot: a padded version in oiled leather for men and sexy high heels with a ski-style hook and lace system for women. Lemaire also blends the typical smart and sporty Lacoste style with the fresh colours of the Jamaican flag.
The men’s shoe styles include ankle-boot variations on the classic brogue while for women golfing shoes feature as high heels in suede leather with bright colours and surprising details. Sports bags in high-quality felt with sewn-on college patches round off the look here. hall 17 / stand D 20

Zirkeltraining
Designer Bernd Dörr makes bags out of leather reclaimed from old sports equipment and recycled gymnastics mats. Why? “Retro sport fashion lacks exclusive and highquality bags. Our one-offs tell a whole host of stories and everyone can identify with our materials,” says the retro gym master. Zirkeltraining came onto the market in October 2007.
The collection for everyday gymnasts comprises styles with names like handstand, squat vault, roll, vaulting horse, pommel horse, buck and trampoline. Each of the one-offs is hand-made and extremely robust.
The 14 different bag shapes range from classic messenger bags and ladies’ handbags through to wallets and padded laptop cases. Zirkeltraining by Bernd Dörr Recycling Goods is limited due to the lack of raw materials and is only sold in select bag shops in Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan and Austria. hall 9 / stand A 66
