Kevin Julien, the Tobagonian fashion designer, renowned for his label Kaj Designs, once again spelled his magic on fashonistas, while displaying his new collection Wild Things on May 30. Kevin had taken his inspiration from the exotic African forest that is full of wilderness.
Tiger, leopard and cheetah prints, textures and tones, all were selected keeping the lush African landscape in mind. The latest collection is crafted from wide range of fabrics that blended safari and animal print in soft chiffons, silk chamois, cotton and wool.
Deep cuts, dipping necklines, dramatic blouses and slit skirts with loads of layers made top-notch fashion statement on the runway. The profound sensuality and exoticism of the islands meet the peculiarities of high fashion that Kevin is known for in international circuit.
Stunning hot models had set the stage on fire when they cat walked wearing an elegant guipure lace bandeau top with tiger and snake print details and a black low-rise skirt.
With the launch of new collection Kevin has once again proved his caliber and distinct understanding of fashion that mirrors an appreciation of indigenous along with contemporary boldness.
Once again the audience was left speechless after witnessing the oomph created by the designer.
