2010 Conference for Communication and Cooperation of Textile and Fiber Industry across the straits was held in the Grand Hotel, Taipei on 10th, August. Many distinguished guests including the head of Taiwan Economy Department, vice chairman of China National Textile and Apparel Council and so on attended this conference. This conference was organized by China National Textile and Apparel Council and Taiwan Textile Research Institute.
Three major issues were discussed at the conference namely, research and production, inspection and information, investment and cooperation. 350 representatives from textile and fiber industry across the straits shared ideas about the cooperation of textile enterprises in the future. At the conference, seven cooperating agreements were signed.
