Anta Sports Products, China's leading manufacturer of athletic shoes, on Aug. 16 posted RMB 3.45 billion-operating revenue for the first half of this year, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 22.6%.
The firm's net profit attributable to shareholders soared 25% year on year to RMB 760 million.
According to the fiscal report, the company's average price of shoes swelled 2% year on year to RMB 96.9 per pair and of garments grew 7.1% year on year to RMB 49.6. In addition, the average cost of shoes declined to RMB 52 per pair, bringing its gross profit margin to 43.7% in the first half.
As of Jun. 30, the Hong Kong-listed enterprise had 7,052 stores, including 461 new stores opened in the first half, with a total floor area of 776,000 square meters.
