Now it is sluggish season for leather market, current business becomes even worse than previous year, some store owners complained to the reporter. They said there are many leather supplying markets established in Guangdong for recent years.
Nowadays leather industry in China grows more and more mature, buyers and suppliers tend to strengthening business relationship for avoiding traders and distributors. As profit margins further reduced manufacturers in leather sector have to do business directly with users that left little room for traders and distributors to survive in leather markets.
Despite huge declined in store rent many stores are still hard to continue their business, some of owner expressed they would retreat from leather markets if such situation going on for next months.
