VANCOUVER, April 8th, 2010 – Today is the first day of runway shows for Vancouver Fashion Week. Designers will be showcased today at the Empire Landmark Hotel located in the heart of downtown at 1400 Robson Street St, Vancouver B.C.
Vancouver Fashion Week kicks things off this year with the International label Fever London, based out of the UK. Although VFW highlights the upcoming Fall/Winter collections, it’s still sunny at Fever London as their Spring/Summer 2010 collection walks the runway, giving the fashion set a rare look at what’s hot for this season!
Fever London’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection is a voyage to a time gone by with vintage inspired frills, bows and polka dots. The storyline is colorful with splashes of tropical brights â€ bold reds, candy pinks and sky blues. A range of vibrant prints are reminiscent of a holiday paradise, while pleats and feminine draping give the collection a sensuous mood, combining femininity and the glamour of the holidays.
