Lane Bryant’s sexy model, Ashley Graham, who stars in the brand’s controversial Cacique lingerie ad that has American buzzing, will be the featured guest at the grand re-opening of the brand’s Mall of America store.
Graham will be joined by two other Lane Bryant models, Tonya Pittman and Lizzie Miller, all of whom appear in the brand’s sportswear ad debuting during American Idol on April 27, 2010. The commercial kicks off Lane Bryant’s re-branding campaign, with its focus on, “Something’s new at Lane Bryant”, dovetailing perfectly with this grand re-opening.
After much controversy, the previously banned Cacique ad, which caused a stir coast-to-coast, will be first seen during American Idol on April 28, 2010.
As the nation’s leading women’s specialty full figured apparel retailer, Lane Bryant has helped shape the image of women in America. “The majority of women in America wear size 14 and up. These women are beautiful, sexy, and they deserve a store that empowers them through great fashion,” says Brian Woolf, Lane Bryant President.
The new store, located on the second floor in the Macy’s wing, features Lane Bryant’s new logo and stylish collections that dress women from head to toe.
“A woman can shop at our Mall of America store and complete her entire wardrobe. The store features Cacique intimate apparel, and shoes and accessories that perfectly coordinate with our fashion collections,” says Woolf. “We have really been listening to our customers and we’re confident they will love what they discover at our new store.”
