Emerging after a successful show during the 2010 Winter Olympics this Fall/Winter 2010 season blends a mix of emerging and established designers. From April 7th to April 11th, the Empire Landmark Hotel located in the heart of downtown on 1400 Robson Street will be the place to catch the likes of returning designers, Drew William and Lav&Kush or debut collections from Retarded Velvet and Wilber Tellez.
Vancouver Fashion Week opens with a special reception at the Open Road Audi dealership with previews of each collection, introduced by the designers.

Saturday night is already almost sold out as a special menswear showcase, featuring Jason Dussault, puts the focus on streetwear. Currently the Chief Creator for Dussault Apparel, Gene Simmons MoneyBag, Vanity and DEUCE Custom Ink, Dussault has done custom designs for celebrities including The Black Eyed Peas, Gene Simmons, Criss Angel, Pam Anderson, Nickelback, Dee Snider, Kat Von D, Flo Rida, and Todd McFarlane.
Having designed the world¹s most expensive Denim, at $250,000.00, the greatest buzz for Dussault has resulted in the moniker "The Hoodie King." Dussault hoodies are hand made in East Van and retail from $600 to $2,500.
