UAE-based airline Emirates has debuted a luxury lounge aimed at premium passengers with more comfortable seats.
The new lounge at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport -- the airline's first in Africa 000 offers luxury leather armchairs and complimentary food prepared by a gourmet chef, along with shower, entertainment and Internet facilities.
It has opened lounges in Hamburg, Manchester, Düsseldorf, Mumbai and Beijing so far this year and is to open one in Birmingham within the next few months.
