Michael Jackson had his own unique style and brother Jermaine too seems to be besotted by fashion, in fact so much is he into it that he has even thought of launching his own label! Currently in India, Jermaine shared his designing plans with the owner of an Indian garment giant.
Owner of Roopam, Roop Milan, Viren Shah revealed, “Jermaine visited Roopam’s Crawford Market outlet in Mumbai few days back and promised he will come back as he wanted to buy few western suits. He kept his promise as he visited us today and bought around 15 suits. The suits were all western in dark shades but with an Indian touch.”
Expressing his association with the Jackson family Viren added, “When Michael came to India we had given him 8-10 Indian outfits to wear. Jermaine was very overwhelmed when I showed him those pictures.”
Jermaine who is all set to take off from India tonight will be back in the city on 20th November and will discuss his plans of launching his own clothing line in collaboration with Roopam.
“He said he wanted to come up with his clothing line and on 20th November we will take things forward when he comes back to Mumbai” said Viren.
Jermaine Jackson also expressed how happy he was to have met Shah Rukh Khan the previous night. “Jermaine thought SRK was very down to earth and nice inspite of being such a powerful man” said Viren.
We are waiting to see Jermaine’s Indo-Western clothing line for sure.
