US minerals processor Sweco, which recently acquired Barcelona-based Ecutec SL, has launched a new ball mill for fine and ultra-fine mineral grinding.
The Ecutec KGM Ball Mill can handle the entire range of soft to hard products as well as abrasive products with a selection of wear resistant lining and grinding media, Sweco said.
The ball mill is designed to grind and classify a range of minerals including
calcium carbonate, dolomite, talc, bentonite, barytes, aluminium oxide, silica and zircon oxide.
Together with Ecutec classifiers, the KGM provides a wide range of finenesses with top cuts down to d98 < 2 m, Sweco said.
Sweco, a business unit of M-I LLC based in Kentucky, USA, is a leading
manufacturer of customised industrial separation equipment.
