Canada St. Lawrence Fluorspar Mine Reactivation approved

Canada Fluorspar Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received a letter from the Honorable Charlene Johnson, the Provincial Minister of Environment and Conservation, advising that "the public and the Assessment Committee review of CFI's Environmental Preview Report (EPR) and the Federal Environmental Assessment Report has been completed in accordance with the requirements under the Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Protection Act and the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act." The Minister has requested further information to be submitted before making the final decision.
"We are pleased with the outcome of this review, CFI and their environmental consultants will be able to provide the requested additional information within approximately one month", said Mr. Lindsay Gorrill, President and CEO of CFI. "We are also very happy to acknowledge the strong support from the Province and the local communities for the project, and we thank them for that" he added.
