Eti Krom has no plan to cannel any of its supply contracts

After Eti Krom announced force majeure on Jan 26, 2010, Eti Krom once again declared that the company would have to delay the delivery of some chrome ore and ferrochrome, but so far has no plan to cannel any of its supply contracts.
Eti Krom promises that the company will deliver according to the contract condition and prices as soon as possible. However, analysis unveiled that some customers are likely to buy elsewhere instead of waiting for Eti Krom's delivery.
It is learned that China now has abundant stocks of chrome ore and current slow demands will also help to reduce the effect from this matter. Statistics show that China now has a stock of 1.5-2 million tonnes of chrome ore, a considerable part of which is from Turkey.
