It is reported that India's state run National Aluminum Company Limited has sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina at USD 336.36 per tonne free on board.
The source said that the alumina, to be shipped in February was purchased by Swiss trader Glencore.
He said that NALCO whose tenders serve as an international benchmark, last sold alumina early this month at USD 347.85 per tonne FOB to Switzerland based Alaska Metals.
