Iluka appoints IFM founder Turner to board

Mineral sands producer Iluka Resources has appointed Stephen Turner and Wayne Osborn as nonexecutive directors, with immediate effect.
Turner is the founder of LSE-listed International Ferro Metals (IFM). He was the CEO of IFM from 2002 to 2009 and continues as a nonexecutive director of that company.
Turner has had responsibility for resource project developments in Australia, Africa, and the Pacific Islands. He was a founding director of the Australian subsidiary of PSG Investment Group, a South African investment bank.
Osborn is a former MD of bauxite-miner Alcoa of Australia, and is a nonexecutive director of Leighton Holdings and Wesfarmers.
He also holds the chair for mining company Thiess, the Australian Institute of Marine Science, and is also a director of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research and a Trustee of the Western Australian Museum.
