Schaeffler Group Greater China held Supplier Conference 2009/2010

To align the strategic development of Schaeffler Group Greater China with its suppliers, Schaeffler Group Greater China held "Supplier Conference 2009/2010" on June 21st in Garden Hotel, Taicang. 120 participants from over 70 suppliers of Schaeffler Group Greater China attended this conference.

During the conference, representatives of Schaeffler Group Greater China management presented company s current business status and outlook 2013, addressed the joint purchasing strategy of Schaeffler Group and Continental Group, introduced the supplier management system, set clear expectations on suppliers, and analyzed business opportunities as well as challenges to all participants.

Two supplier representatives shared their successful practice of cooperation with Schaeffler. Ten suppliers were entitled as "Excellent Supplier 2009/2010" at this meeting.

This conference has become an excellent platform of open communication between both sides. Just as the slogan of this conference indicates, only by making joint progress, can Schaeffler and its suppliers achieve joint success. Mr. Nis-Peter Iwersen, Vice President of Purchasing AP commented after the meeting.
