HRB Signed Cooperation Agreement With AVIC

In the morning on 29 April, Aviation Industry Corporation of China (abbr. AVIC) and Harbin Municipal Government held an agreement signing ceremony for the construction of bearing industry base at Shangri-La Hotel in Harbin City.

The new company,AVIC Harbin Bearing Company Limited jointly established by Harbin Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd.(abbr. HRB) and four subsidiaries of AVIC, AVIC Dongan Engine (Group)Corporation Ltd., AVIC Sichuan Chengfa Aero Science&Technology Co., Ltd., AVIC Shenyang Liming Aero-Engine Group Co., Ltd. and AVIC Xi'an Aero-Engine (Group) Co., Ltd. ,the formation of which has marked the stratigic of building domestic top-end bearing base has entered into substantial period.

The company covers an area of 350,000 square meters, the total investment will not be less than 1 billion yuan. It mainly engaged in design, development, manufacturing, repair and sales of aerospace bearing, railway bearing, high-end precision bearing and extra-large wind power bearings,and the after-sale service.

China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) is an ultra large state-owned enterprise and an investment institution, authorized and managed by the Central People s Government. It is reorganized from AVIC I and AVIC II. The Corporate is managed through 10 business units: defense, transport aircraft, aviation engine, helicopters, avionics, general aviation aircraft, aviation research and development, flight test, trade & logistics, asset management.
