Qingdao Custom Seized 400,000 sets Violating Property Right Bearings

On World Intellectual Property Day, the delegation of World Bearing Association (WBA) came to Qingdao to expressed their gratitude to the efforts of Qingdao Custom in cracking down violating property right bearings and protecting the famous bearing brands, and made discussion on intellectual property protection of bearing products.

According to the introduction by Yang Luping, the director of Statute Department of Qingdao Custom, that Qingdao Custom has taken special action to crack down violating property right bearings since 2007, seized 23 cases of violating bearings and more than 400,000 sets bearings with total value of 3.3 million yuan, which involving famous brands home and abroad like SKF, FAG, NSK, NTN, KG and FK, etc.

Doctor Andreas from WBA indicated that Qingdao Custom has made outstanding contribution on protecting the intellectual property right of bearing products and play a significant role in maintain fair and orderly international trade environment.
