On November 18, LYC successfully developed the testing machine for shield bearing of EPB, an independent contribution to the National 863 Project. The machine will provide essential laboratory findings for design betterment and technological improvement.
With the urgent demand for bearings used in shield tunneling machine, the laboratory needs for testing shield bearing are increasing. The new testing machine can collect the data of friction moment in launching and rotating as well as current value, temperature and vibration in operation. The data are important reference for improving the product, increasing its reliability and narrowing the gap with advanced manufacturers, so as to deliver world-class product and take up more market share.
