On November 1, CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Wei received the delegation of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by its chairman Esam Abdullah Fakhro. Zhang summarized the sound cooperative relationship between CCPIT and BCCI. He expected enhanced exchanges and communication, deepened friendship and expanded cooperation by the business communities of the two countries to contribute to the Sino-Bahrain relationship in a comprehensive manner.
The China-Bahrain Economic and Trade Conference was also held in Beijing on the same day. Mr. Sui Jianmin, Deputy Secretary-general of CCPIT, Esam Abdullah Fakhro, Chairman of BCCI, made presence in the conference and delivered speeches during the event.
Sui expressed that CCPIT would jointly launch the fourth China-Arab Cooperation Forum with BCCI next year.
Chairman Fakhro said that BCCI would organize delegation visits, fora and match-making business talks to promote understanding among enterprises and to facilitate their cooperation with aid.
About 200 businessmen from Bahrain and China attended the conference and held match-making talks.
