China-Utah Economic and Trade Investment Forum Successfully Held

On September10, the China-Utah Economic and Trade Investment Forum co-hosted by CCPIT and the State Government of Utah was successfully held in the Salt Lake. Vice Chairman of CPPCC Bai Licheng of China and Vice Governor of the State of Utah Greg Bell attended and addressed the forum. The Chinese Entrepreneurs Delegation led by CCPIT Deputy Secretary General Sui Jianmin was also there at the forum.
In his speech, Vice Chairman Bai said that given the large bilateral cooperation potential in the economic front, in particular, in new energy and life sciences, he hoped that entrepreneurs of the two sides could seize opportunities and bring about a practical outcome in the related areas.
Vice Governor Bell said that the State of Utah valued the economic and trade cooperation with China. He commended the effort of CCPIT for enhancing the bilateral cooperation, and hoped to further the pragmatic cooperation on the occasion.
Government officials, representatives of business associations and enterprises of Utah introduced in details development and investment opportunities in areas of economic and trade investment climate, energy and natural resources, and life sciences.
