Terex, the world's third largest construction equipment manufacturer, would further increase its investment in China though its business was affected by the financial crisis, China Daily reported Tuesday.

Terex acquired the world's largest port equipment manufacturer Fantuzzi-Noell and its plants in China in July this year.
The move clearly shows that China is important to the company's future strategy, the newspaper said, citing Terex China president Harold Lang.
