Chinese stocks finish higher at midday

Chinese equities closed higher in the morning session Friday, tracing global markets' rallies after China reassured investors its confidence in Europe.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 13.35 points, or 0.5 percent to finish at 2,669.26 at midday.
The Shenzhen Component Index added 30.32 points, or 0.29 percent, to end the morning session at 10,573.65.
