Japan's monetary base rose 6.1 percent on year in July to 98.935 trillion yen (103.27 billion U.S. dollars), the Bank of Japan (BOJ) said in a report on Tuesday.
The total in the recording month follows a 1.0 percent annual rise in June, the central bank said.
According to the BOJ, the monetary base surged 35.2 percent to 99.826 trillion yen on a seasonally adjusted basis.
Banknotes in circulation rose 1.0 percent in July while coins in circulation dropped an annual 0.4 percent, the bank said.
Current account balances climbed 39.8 percent on year, including a 38.3 percent annual leap in reserve balances.
