Algerian Expenditure of Grain Import Cut down much

Recently Algeria government officer said, in 2010 Algerian expenditure of grain import had been down to 1.9 billion dollars which cut by more than half compared with 3.9 billion dollars in 2008, and wheat accounted for 70%.

So far Algeria government invests in agriculture 3 billion dollars each year to promote agriculture development and meanwhile publishes laws which provide Preferential terms to farmers who rent state-owned land.
