Brazil: The output of corn is lower than last year

Recently, the Soybean and Corn Growers Association in Mato Grosso, Brazil indicated that the corn planting in this state is delayed seriously. It is influenced by rain. There are surplus 30% corn planting not completed. This may lead to a sliding of the overall corn output in Brazil.

It is known that this state is the second largest corn-producing areas in Brazil. The Ministry of Agriculture in Brazil estimated that the output of corn will amount to 54,500,000 tons this year. It had 56,000,000 tons last year.
