The French Agriculture Office indicated on March 9, 2011 that France becomes the global second largest wheat exporter this year. The total quantity of export wheat may amount to 19,200,000 tons this year. And the quantity of wheat which is exported to the third countries is nearby 12,600,000 tons. It creates a new historical record. Some analysts believed that the quantity of export wheat increases sharply in France. It is mainly because the demand in North Africa and Mideast is large. These local governments enhance the volume of import wheat to suppress the inflation.
Meanwhile, the major wheat export countries in the world like Canada, Russia and Ukraine experienced underproduction in different degree.
