Miguel Jorge who is the governor in Luanda checked up the work in the fishery bureau of this province on March 9. He request the fishery department strengthens the cooperation with other Supervision department and attacks illegal fishing severely. He said that the fishery resources in Luanda are rich. But there is foreign fishing vessels running illegal work in sea area. The department of fishery, navy and police must work together and guarantee fishery resources in Luanda free from aggression. He stressed that the fishery is the prior industry that government believes. It should have the influence on eliminating poverty and improving the lives of people.
