Ronaldinho Gaucho said he was ready to enjoy the Carnaval party after he scored a goal in Flamengo's 3-2 victory over Olaria Saturday in the first round of the second half of the Rio de Janeiro state championship.
The Flamengo coaching staff released the team for two days to enjoy one of the biggest parties on earth, the Brazilian Carnaval.
Ronaldinho, an avid fan of samba, is already confirmed to come to two different samba schools that will parade down Rio de Janeiro's sambadrome, Sapucai -- Portela and Grande Rio.
Ronaldinho has also organized his own street party in the upscale neighborhood of Barra da Tijuca.
