Gennaro Gattuso scored a rare goal as AC Milan beat Juventus 1-0 to extend their Serie A lead to eight points.
In a game of few clear-cut chances, Gattuso pounced on a knock-down from Zlatan Ibrahimovic to fire a left-footed shot from the edge of the area in the 68th minute.
Milan had threatened little until Gattuso registered his first league goal since 23 January 2008, their only previous attempt on target a long-range free-kick from Ibrahimovic, which his former teammate Buffon did well to parry.
Juve, however, hardly caused problems to the Rossoneri rearguard and find themselves 20 points off the pace in seventh place following third successive loss.
